As everyone knows, tomorrow is the 2nd of February 2011. How time has past. It feels like only yesterday, that I was still in High School, fast forward to now, tomorrow will mark the 4th year of my marriage with my wife, Azlul Wadzihah, or just plain – Ewa. Throughout our marriage we have been blessed with a strong bond towards each other, and also in 2009, we were blessed with our first son, Eusoff. Nothing could be much closer to the feeling of eternal bliss, but the feeling of being loved by your loved ones.
It’s been awhile since I did anything remotely exciting to surprise my wife. Every year has been almost the same routine; we wish ourselves happy anniversary, we go out for dinner, take some photos and wake up to another new day. But this year, I have came up with something, that I hope that she would cherish. I decided to design my own anniversary card for her. I managed to come up with a design within a few hours, and printed it at a local digital print shop just nearby my office. Obviously, I would have preferred going to a proper printer where I could have more choices of paper or maybe even some emboss/letterpress type of effect on the card. But I guess this would have to do for now. Here’s a look at the printed card. It was printed on a linen type paper.
Hopefully she will like it, and since she doesn’t read my blog, I am posting the design a few hours early before our anniversary. Hope you guys like it as well!
Oh, and finally, I would like to take the opportunity to wish my wife – Ewa, a very happy anniversary! May Allah bless us all in our journey towards eternal bliss.
